FWD.us
Previously, I was a Product Manager at FWD.us, focusing on immigration & criminal justice reform through digital campaigns.
Product management: I work with our design & engineering teams to build educational web products. I am involved in the process of wireframing, prototyping, as well as the prioritization of features and builds. I work in both the immigration and criminal justice verticals, working with various teams and focusing on various campaigns. I also evangelize various product management best practices, including leading on writing product requirement documents, initiating design reviews, and leading on having more consistent & often check-ins with our engineering team.
Facilitation: I facilitate meetings and project debriefs with cross-functional stakeholders, synthesizing feedback and insights and make recommendations on areas of improvement.
Consultant: We own various non-FWD branded websites that we work on as an org, and I give my time and consult in areas such as user experience, product management, and site improvements.
LifeGyde
I have worked on various projects and initiatives during my time at LifeGyde. We focus on peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing within enterprise companies and organizations.
Product: I helped executive team obtain meetings & build relationships with target customers through crafting messaging for emails, reaching 98% open rate (over 5 times industry average), and response rate of >20%. I collaborated with teammates to help gauge product interest through wireframing & prototyping, as well as product testing with ads on social media. I planned and drafted user guides for our product offering, clarifying product concepts for our end users.
User & Market Research: I helped inform & drive product development through planning & conducting user interviews and customer discovery interviews, synthesizing insights for the executive team that led to 3 product pivots. I also conducted research into competitors to gain insights into features & pricing.
Project Management: I helped the team ensure timely delivery of projects through coordinating cross-functional communication for teammates in design, engineering, and marketing.
Marketing: I curated our digital presence through leading content strategy and design for our website and bi-weekly company newsletter, working with sales & design.
Fiskkit
Fiskkit is an online platform that allows users to participate in civil, fact-based, and engaging discussions. It allows news articles to be commented on sentence-by-sentence, allowing the user to tag each sentence with a descriptor (or "tag"), such as "true", "false", "insightful", "cherry-picking", "biased", etc. The idea is to gather insights based on these tags.
User Research: In order to address user confusion in our website functionality, I identified areas of confusion through a series of guerrilla interviews incorporating usability testing.Â
UX Design & Prototyping: I designed clickable prototypes for new features incorporating user feedback. I worked with Design Director and engineers to implement new onboarding features to make our platform easier to use.

Previously, I was a Web Designer at Rooster Grin Media
Web Design: I designed web sites for our clients, most of whom are orthodontic practices. I created sitemaps, wireframes, and clickable prototypes, working with engineers to implement the end product.
Project Management: I coordinated with our clients throughout the duration of the web design projects, incorporating any feedback or changes that were needed.
